The Next Process….in Finding Your Dream

So on to the next process…as I call it…as it is a way of looking at your World.

This process is called…Beach Background You Dont KnowYou Don’t KNOW What You Don’t KNOW!!!!

Yea…that’s right. You don’t know everything about yourself, and you need help…If anyone thinks they can get to Finding Their Dream without “outside” assistance, they are definitely in a state of confusion or delusion!

Now that might seem like a contradiction to yesterday’s post…You KNOW the Next THING to be Done. But…

Let’s say you are getting good at doing the Next Thing…and…either many Next Things start to surface, and you don’t know which one to do….becoming overwhelmed….or you start to do them, and they start to feel uncomfortable.

So what should you being doing next…or what is the RIGHT Next Thing?

There are 2 things that need to happen.

First, you need a Purpose…a Vision…I didn’t put that as the first Step…because I have found in my own life that having that overall…big…Vision…like, To Change the World…keeps me from getting started. And I have seen that in many other people. (I have been doing and teaching this process for over 30 years now.) They get started, and as soon as they encounter an obstacle, they QUIT!

They don’t have the habit of doing the Next Thing…no habit of paying attention to themselves and seeing the Next Thing…of focusing on the feeling of accomplishing it…of actually experiencing those results…and how inevitable and automatic the process becomes! That creates the Confidence YOU Need to go on to Finding Your Dream!

Once that is in place, you are ready for the Big Dream!!! You know…What you do if you had all the Time and Money in the World?

I would put it a different way….What kind of Life do You want…even given the restrictions of Time and Money. Having Everything doesn’t make you Happy. Ask the people who “have it all,” and they all say they needed a Bigger Cause…some way to help others, even the world.

So, a better question to ask is: What kind of Life do You want that will help the World? That is a Dream that will never die or become stale. It will guide you through all the steps in the process of Finding Your Dream!

So, now that you know you need a Bigger Cause…that DREAM, you need to realize that you need others to help you…because, as I said at the beginning of this post…You Don’t KNOW What You Don’t KNOW!!!

You need help to find out what is deep inside you, by talking to people…but, not just anyone. You need someone with lots of experience in listening to lots of people, that can hear what is going on “underneath”…” between the lines.” (That’s what I do!) You need someone that will reinforce your Dream, not tear it down, due to jealousy or the desire to keep you safe. Someone that will help you realize that your reality is a perception…one way of looking at things…and show you different ways to look at it and change it. That’s how you get those “Aha” moments, which propel you on to the next level….the Next RIGHT Thing!

Stay tuned for more…the next step in the Process.

As always…

Finding Your Dream…The Steps….The Process!!

I am on a roll…. the third day of writing a post. I told myself for months now that I will write a little bit every day…and it’s happening….a real testament to intention and attraction.

So what am I thinking today…hmmmm.

About the steps…the process…to Finding Your Dream! I think you know that you have a Dream…somewhere.

I have been asked many times, ”How do I know what I really want to do…or what God wants me to do.” I always say, you know, way down deep inside. You know what needs to be done. You even know what the first step is. It’s the one thing that you will not do (like start to write every day, in my case.) You know what that is.

Only a very few people have said to me, “Yes, I know.” And fewer still have revealed what that one step is. Many have just gone incognito. It reminds me of the story of the rich man asking what must I do to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven? The answer was, Sell all you have and give it to the poor!

Wow, big stuff!!!

An extreme example!!!

But that was the one thing that he wouldn’t do. It has nothing to do with his wealth being bad, and little to do with the poor, since just giving them money does nothing for them, because once the money is gone they are poor again.

It has to do with what you are holding onto that is keeping you from YOUR DREAM (which is similar to the Kingdom of Heaven.) Remember that’s where it came from in the first place.

So for today, think about what that ONE thing is that you need to do…and won’t…or, rather, haven’t….yet. Make an intention…an attraction to having….not getting….that thing done. Having it done, means it is already done, so you are attracting the result, not that Thing that hasn’t happened…yet.

So how would it feel if you did that ONE thing??? Feel that Feeling…really feel it!!! Every Day. All the time!!! That makes it inevitable that it will be in your experience!

The steps…the process…is, Intend to get it done. Think about doing it. Imagine it already being done, and, FEEL the emotion of having that task being “conquered.” Feel the empowerment you will have! Does that seem like it’s not such a big deal anymore?

Yep, sure does!!!

Maybe Not So Foolish Comments!

4/2/2016

Regarding my missives of yesterday, they were an overview of what I have been thinking about lately. Maybe today’s thoughts might be a little less foolish, as I will try to explain and elucidate the ones from yesterday.

I will start from the end of yesterday’s thoughts, and go to the beginning to get a perspective of how I am thinking, and how it can benefit you in Finding Your Dream.

The concept of connectivity is crucial to Finding Your Dream. How can you ever be in touch with yourself, if you don’t realize how you fit in? If you don’t, going to work, or running a business is all you can even conceptualize. You might be saying that you are Finding Your Dream in your present situation, you might be “happy” there, but the world is always creating, and you will soon have an inkling that there is something more. Sooner or later, you begin to realize that you are stuck in the rat race, knowing something is wrong, but have no idea what it is, or how to escape. You will begin to know your potential isn’t even remotely fulfilled. So finding that deep inner spiritual connection…going within.. is the first step. You must get to the point where you are comfortable with yourself and your circumstances…so you know where you are… you can begin to see that you could even have a Dream. That unfulfilled potential is your Dream, and accessing it is the goal and the process of Finding Your Dream.

So what distracts you from knowing who we are and where we fit in? Thinking about all the social problems in the world, and how “someone” should fix them, is a big one. That’s why I talked about the role of government in our lives. If we can think about ways we can control ourselves… i.e. personal responsibility…less control is needed from the “outside.” Learning that anything outside ourselves is only a perception, and it keeps you from concentrating on what is important to you…YOUR Dream.

Another big distraction is the current political climate. Being all caught up in the Bernie or Trump issue is really intoxicating. Someone is going to do something!!!…and I am going to support them…again, abdicating self-responsibility, which keeps you from focusing on what makes you happy and fulfilled. You might say that your support of one candidate is fulfilling and necessary..it might be…but how much have you thought of yourself while you are fighting for your candidate? It’s your mind’s way of keeping you safe and secure, which is its job.

So how does talking about the political arena relate to Your Dream? Well, if you spend an inordinate amount of time participating in the irrelevant…in my view…discussions and distortions, you are taken away from focusing on yourself…what you want…which is like I said, a peaceful life. So if we focus on that…the ideas behind all the rhetoric…dreams can come forth. Realizing that we are in this together gives you a perspective on how you relate and connect to everyone else, and, therefore, how you can contribute to the whole…humanity.

So how do you go about finding how you are connected? I have been studying some courses, like A Course in Miracles. It teaches you that the things you see and thoughts you think are meaningless, and you give them all attention that they deserve. Once that barrier is broken, real “reality” begins to show itself for what it is….a construct…that we construct…so now our Dream begins to become possible.

Another unique and powerful course is Crack Your Egg. In it you learn that your reality is your Egg and you need to ]Crack it to see your potential…to Find Your Dream. Your Egg is deeply planted; it pervades your reality and distorts your perception. It is a complete course on getting to your core beliefs, and changing them so actually having your Dream becomes not only possible but inevitable!! You can access the free introductory book here:  https://se123.isrefer.com/go/heart/salzer/ and, after that, the introduction series, here: https://se123.isrefer.com/go/aseries/salzer/  They are quite comprehensive and will give a good introduction into what you will experience in the course. It completely changed my perception, and my reality, once I realized the Egg I was in. I highly recommend it.

From these courses, and others that I will discuss in future missives, and my research and experience, you can realize that Finding Your Dream is in your grasp!

To Your Best

Vince

A New Kind of Living…Agrihood!

This is a post about a new way of living. They have a “subdivision” that surrounds an active working farm and conservancy, with hiking trails and all kinds of nature. This is instead of having tennis courts, and golf clubs. I think it’s a cool, different way to live…go down to the local market and get fresh produce and eggs for dinner!!

It is posted by Living Well Daily from Laissez Faire.

Living Well Daily

When it comes to picking a home, many phrases may deter you from looking into a neighborhood. Things like, “up and coming” and “on the rise” may get an immediate pass from some folks.

But for me, after spending a good portion of my life in Florida, the words “planned community” always translated into “no way” when I was looking for a home.

If you’ve ever visited the sunshine state (or you live there), you’ve probably seen that it’s chocked full of neighborhoods with beige-colored cookie-cutter homes and rows of condos surrounding a golf course, country club, and tennis courts.

Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with these types of communities. But since I haven’t picked up a golf club or tennis racket a day in my life, there wasn’t much appeal in that lifestyle for me.

A few weeks ago, though, I had the opportunity to visit Willowsford, Virginia — a planned community that was, well, very different from the ones I had experienced in Florida, or anywhere for that matter.

Instead of a golf course or tennis courts, I found a nature conservatory, hiking trails, camping areas, fish-stocked ponds, and, most importantly, a farm.

The farm not only provides produce, eggs, chickens, and other local, sustainably grown and produced items for residents who participate in the farm’s CSA program or shop at the Farm Stand, but also serves customers who live and work in neighboring communities. Additionally, the farm inspires neighborhood culinary classes and food education.

Willowsford is one of about 200 farm-to-table communities that have sprouted up in the U.S.1 Just like Willowsford, these “agrihoods” are redefining the image of suburban life by making farming the community focus over leisure sports.

Three hundred acres of Willowsford are dedicated farmland. From May through November, residents can enjoy over 100 varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs, eggs, and meat from pastured chickens. These are available through a community-supported agriculture (CSA) program or at the Willowsford Farm Stand.

The farm also provides educational events and activities like their 2015 Monarch program which involved young participants learning how to tag and release monarch butterflies, as well as acts as a distribution point for local businesses that sell sustainably raised meats, dairy products, and poultry. One of their community partners includes Heritage Hollow Farms in Sperryville, Virginia which provides grass-fed beef to the farm stand.

While Willowsford isn’t a certified organic farm, it uses organic practices, including using non-GMO seeds.

I had the pleasure of talking to Willowsford Farm director Mike Snow during my visit.

We discussed GMO seeds and common farming practices. During our discussion, Mike told me a story about how another farmer he knew resorted to using GMO seeds during a difficult squash season.

When I asked him if he would consider the same practice, he replied, “I just can’t do it.”

An answer as simple and perfect as the food he grows.

But the good food news doesn’t end there for this agrihood. It also has a culinary program led by acclaimed chef and culinary adviser Bonnie Moore.

On the day I toured Willowsford, I got to meet Bonnie. While she was setting up for a cooking class geared toward kids, she explained that little to no food at Willowsford goes to waste. When there are excess crops, she gets to work in the kitchen. If there are extra tomatoes, she makes pasta sauce. If there are extra strawberries, she makes jam. Very industrious!

Willowsford has 2,000 acres of conservancy land which includes the farm. This means 2,000 acres of the community will remain undeveloped, no matter how much the community grows. In these 2,000 acres are miles of trails for residents to enjoy. Plus, they have two beautiful community buildings, the Sycamore House and The Lodge at Willow Lake, with pools, meeting areas, community kitchens, and endless other amenities.

Before you get too excited, you should know the average price of a home in Willowsford is around $850,000.

Living in Willowsford or most agrihoods isn’t an affordable option for everyone, but if you live in the Washington, D.C., area, you can still reap the benefits of the farm by joining their CSA.

“Foolish” Ramblings

4/1/2016

On this April Fool’s Day, I will share some “foolish” thoughts. In other words, just some of the ramblings that have been going through my mind lately, are influenced by what I have been reading and seeing on the Web.

First, I have seen lots of vitriolic comments in the political arena, mostly due to the large differences in the perception of what each candidate is saying….namely Trump and Bernie, which seem to be on opposite ends of the spectrum. It amazes me how emotional people can get over what they think the other side is saying…mostly taken from the media. Bernie supporters never listen to what Trump is “saying,” and vice versa. Posts are made taking comments out of context and spinning each side’s viewpoint. They don’t get to the meaning of what is being said….the principles that the candidate stands for. I think we can all agree that we want “America Great Again” and that the Fat Cat Bankers and Wall Streeters are making all the money. It would seem a combination of the two views would be the best for the country and the world. And, since we are all in this together, it would be better if we cooperate. Right?

Second, I have been posting some about the role of government on FB. They are ideas to think about. Do we need the government to regulate “everything,” or should we be able to control ourselves? It calls for personal responsibility, which is what we think we all have. We get up, go to work, take care of our families, and generally want to live peaceful lives. I wonder if that would work in the political arena. Sure, there are disputes, but they could be taken care of on a case-by-case basis, but do we need anything else….other than roads, bridges, and other infrastructure….oh yea…a military…to defend ourselves…meaning if a country invades us. Other than that, wouldn’t we be much better off just letting ourselves enjoy our lives? It’s something to think about….

This all stems from my worldview, which is metaphysical. I have been studying world cultures and the similarities in their worldviews. They all seem to say we come from One Source, although, what happens after that is diverse. But the main idea is that we come from the same “Something,” and that is what we should be focusing on. The other differences are what is making the “mess” we are living in.

So where does our Dream come in? Well, maybe when we begin to think about how we are all connected through that Source, we will begin to connect to that Source…where our Dream originally came from. It would make sense that we could then manifest that Dream!
